The Roman walls of Lugo encircle the city with the old gates still in place, plus a few newer ones. They are a World Heritage Site as the only complete walls in Europe.
Terry is standing outside of the Porta de Santiago (the Santiago Gate) on the Rua de Santiago. There is a photo of the inside of the gate at the post for Lugo on Saturday 23rd May
The museum has a wide range of Roman stones - milestones, altars to various gods etc.
