The Roman road continues along the track. It was near here that I saw the porcupine's paw print and tail track. (See 'Safe home' - June 6th)
The barn is granite. This is on the other side of the road from the barn which is on the post 'Lugo to Ferreira' on 24th May.
The house backed onto the track, an old 'longhouse' half built into the hillside at the back and two storey at the front.
