Nearing Santiago de Compostela, past Lavacola and Monte do Gozo. Pilgrims sat on the stone in the stream to wash and the wear marks can be seen. Monte do Gozo provided the first view of Santiago in the distance

It was too wet to want to explore the stream...... the mist was so thick at Monte de Gozo you could barely find the way to the albergue, let alone see the spires of Santiago....... how different our experiences can be of places due to the weather!!
