Photos: Embalse de Grandas de Salime
The road zigzagged down to the dam, crossed it giving a view down the reservoir and then ran uphill again for 6km to the town. All the old workings and accomodation for the dam builders were still there. Derelict and weird. The old village of Salime is under the water.
